Hello!! It's me again!

I consider myself to be quite a renaissance man. In addition to tickling the ivories and heading a fleet of starships, I like to write, paint, and garden. A sampling of some of my better works are below:

@}'--Primordial Wish--'{@

Oh! to be a little squid

swimming in the sea

not a care to wrinkle my brow

my only need to pee

I squint and squirm and squirt my ink

into the deep blue water

having no'one to answer to

except perhaps my mother

I would not miss my legs nor arms

My friends have flippers and fins

My ocean's big enough for two -

won't you please jump in?

From My Mouth

"Move the fleet away from the death star"

I say - as

eyes bulge

mouth twitches

throat tightens

brow glistens...

the enemy waits

Ackbar Haiku*

(composed while waiting for battle)

Gills fill with salt air

wait for oceans warm embrace

I am home again

* many have noted this perhaps does not follow the strict guidelines for haiku - this is a special form of Mon Calamari Haiku. Trust me, it is correct!

Many have asked "Admiral, what do you do when you are not saving the world or rolling across the piano or being mauled by a cat?"

Here is the answer:

I paint! This is an ancient form of Mon Calamari art - when an adult's head has fully hardened, they may dip the tip of their dome into various paints and swirl them about on a canvas - the results can be quite exquisite, as you can see below. This is entitled "Fleet moving away from the Death Star" of course!

I garden! Yes, that is my backyard seaweed garden on Mon Calamari. I have been know to grow 15 different varieties of kelp in one season - enough for myself and the local ladies!

I sample hallucinogenic seaweed! Yes, a bad habit, but I recently decided - heck, everyone thinks I do it anyway. Here's a snapshot of me 'feeling groovy.' Plus, I am rubber and it cannot affect my central nervous system in the least.

I am a candidate for sainthood! Technically I am not, but I think once I master 'The Harmonious Blacksmith' it will be considered a miracle and canonization will soon follow. I realize I am not from this galaxy and consider your religious teachings to be maudlin tripe, but making me a Saint can only bring goodwill to the universe. Pope, are you listening?
